One of the consistently impressive names in our local design scene, Ross Gardam, has revealed an exhibition of spectacular lighting at the hotly anticipated Milan Design Week 2023.

The annual event brings together brands, makers, and exhibitors from across the globe in one massive week, giving studios the opportunity to showcase Australia’s design talent on the world stage.

This year, Ross Gardam presents TRANSCENDENCE – a curation of unique lighting that goes beyond the traditional. The exhibit champions the studio’s experimentation with different glass techniques. Each piece acts like a sculpture in its own right, that changes with the flick of a switch!

This showcase brings together mix of limited-edition pieces and new collections like Volant, which includes a modern chandelier like almost looks like it’s in motion. It also offers a first look at the striking Méne range, filled with otherworldly references to the moon and outer space.

TRANSCENDENCE is the result of Ross Gardam’s extensive work with lighting design and fascination with hand blown glass, and an insight into his impressive furniture portfolio. And the best part is all the pieces are made in Melbourne!
