‘The demand for comfortable sofa beds that actually look good is very high,’ says Koala chief design officer James Whitta.
‘As more of us look for ways of maximising space in our home, we wanted to bring a new style of sofa bed that was a little more elevated, both literally and figuratively.’
The Paddo is the Australian brand’s first sofa bed designed to sleep like a true bed — head to the wall, elevated off the floor.
With sizes ranging from single to king, it can also be configured as a daybed and mega chaise for greater flexibility.
The perfect place for messy conversations and spilled drinks, the Paddo features Koala’s signature removable and washable covers. It also comes in the iconic plain weave and boucle fabrications, if a contemporary look is more your style.
