Australian brands Royal Oak Floors and Zuster have teamed up to create a  new collection of wall panels that brings the intricate detailing and depth of Zuster’s furniture to an architectural scale.

Defined by curves, woven grids, arches, and fine fluting, this collection includes four distinct wall panels — Tulip, Opal, Tapestry, and Embellish — available in Vanilla Oak, Nutmeg Oak, or Smoked Oak finishes.

‘I initially designed the wall panels as signature backdrops for our furniture shoots,’ explains Zuster’s design director Wilhelmina McCarroll. ‘They were intended to create an architectural setting that felt distinctly Zuster.’

‘Over the years, we received so much interest in the walls themselves that we began to see the opportunity for them to become a collection in their own right.’

The partnership brings together Zuster’s distinct designs, with the craftsmanship of Royal Oak Floors, who have two decades of experience providing quality timber finishes to Australian homes.

‘Zuster’s furniture has always had a quality that makes you want to reach out and touch it, and these walls carry that same feeling,’ says Byron Smith, Royal Oak Floors managing director.

‘Our role has been to take a design that began as a backdrop and bring it to life as a collection, crafted with the same care that goes into every Royal Oak floor. We both share a deep respect for oak and the patience it takes to work with it properly. It’s a natural fit for two Australian brands who believe good things take time.’
