Melbourne-based furniture brand Kett has released the Wilson Collection, inspired by the rocky beaches and parched grasslands of Wilsons Promontory.
Exclusive to Australian family-owned furniture business Cosh Living, the new collection showcases bespoke pieces that feature strong design and maximum comfort, with the Wilson Sofa as the most recent addition.
Wilsons Prom, located 157km southeast of Melbourne in Gippsland, is known for its rugged granite mountains, lush rainforests, and popular swimming spots that come alive in summer with holidaymakers.
The Wilson Sofa draws on the sweeping forms and contours of this iconic region through its soft curves and generous proportions, bringing a sculptural presence to the space, balanced by an inviting sense of comfort.
This sofa embodies Kett’s exploration of the Australian way of life through its gentle rounded form, as the wide range of modular configurations ensures it’s suitable for any home, big or small.
With a focus on furniture that feels at one with nature, Kett design director Justin Hutchinson describes the collection as ‘a carefree journey into the wilderness, crossing bays and resting among giant granite boulders on soft white sand’.
