Illustrator Kat Macleod has turned her colourful talents towards a new project… A range of kids’ books published by Thames & Hudson!
With three kids of her own, Kat is is totally tuned in to what bubs want and, more importantly, what makes them go to sleep at night. Consisting of four hard-cover board books dedicated to a different area of learning (counting, the alphabet, colours, and shapes), each book in the series contains a simple storyline and Kat’s vibrant illustrations from cover to cover. Discover the rainbow of colours hiding in the garden, or all the shapes that are present at a birthday party!
‘I found a theme and simple narrative for each book based on things that I love drawing (such as botanic shapes and all things from nature), as well as things that I know my children love (parties! cakes! tiny ladybirds! strange fruits!),’ says Kat. A true joy for both baby and parent!
