Love comes in many forms – platonic, brotherly, unrequited… but romantic love traditionally gets the top billing in cultural representations. This exhibition, curated by Suzanne Brown and Anna-Marie O’Keefe, widens the scope, and lets love run the full gamut of emotions.

Following the premise that ‘love is love’, the exhibition binds together heartfelt works by Arts Project studio artists. Whatever You Love, You Are! pushes the limits, exploring the concept of fully living a ‘lovelife’ and what happens when we have the courage to ‘follow our hearts.’

The artworks flirt with both heartbreak and happiness and span drawing, painting, ceramics, embroidery, and digital art. Arts Project Australia supports artists with intellectual disabilities and promotes and advocates for their artwork within contemporary art practice. If you haven’t visited the studio and gallery before, we predict this might be love at first sight.
