Tsu Lange Yor and Gentle Habits have teamed up for a new incense that embodies the serenity of Australian summer days.

Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan and his brother, Steele Mellet, co-founded Tsu Lange Yor in 2023. Since then, they’ve garnered global recognition for their emotive scents and eclectic homewares; while Sophie Marshall’s local lifestyle brand Gentle Habits is all about harnessing the power of incense as part of your daily ritual.

This new collaboration brings these two beloved brands together. It all started with their shared upbringing in Western Australia, and summers spent visiting a small coastal town: Yallingup.

‘When Troye and I realised we’d spent our summers in the same place, there was an immediate sense of recognition,’ Sophie says.

‘We both knew Yallingup in that very specific way you know somewhere from childhood: the road that leads down the hill, the beach, the heat, the smell of the bush after a long day in the sun. The scent is our take on that feeling – familiar, yet a little bit rugged.’

Yallingup draws on these memories to create a perfectly balanced fragrance for the home. Opening with bright notes of blackcurrant and pineapple, it gradually warms into a deeper and smokier layer of eucalyptus and pepper, settling into a grounded, woody base of cedarwood and sandalwood.

Alongside the fragrance, the Yallingup incense sticks can be placed in the new and exclusive incense holder from Tsu Lange Yor.

Handcrafted in stainless steel, it takes on an asymmetric, sculptural form that gently rocks at the touch. This creates wave-like patterns in the smoke, reminiscent of sun-soaked beaches, providing a meditative interaction.

‘Yallingup is where I spent so many summers of my childhood, so putting those memories into an incense with Gentle Habits has been really special,’ Troye adds.
