Local, international and TDF favourite Third Drawer Down has announced the closing of its bricks-and-mortar store in Fitzroy.
While many will be sorry to see the store-front go, the silver lining is that the online store will still be open, and, to send the store off in style, they’re hosting an epic ‘Leaving is Lame’ sale this Saturday, 16th July.
‘Lifting is lousy, and moving is a mission,’ says owner Abi Compton. ‘So everyone is invited to come along IRL, and help clear the shelves of ends of lines, special one-off samples, floor stock, as well as discounts from between 25% to 99% across all the Third Draw Down items sold in-store that day.’
If there’s one thing for sure, it’s locals and visitors alike are in for a shopping treat.
Abi says, ‘We’ll miss the neighbourhood so much! There any been so many good times, but it’s time to move on, freshen things up and explore the world again.’
