Recently celebrating their first anniversary, Mercedes me have committed to measuring and lowering their environmental impact over the last 12 months by partnering with carboNZero. ‘We’re consistently looking for opportunities to minimise pollution and consider the environmental life-cycle of our products, services and operations,’ says General Manager Simon Johnson, ‘being based in Melbourne, a C40 City, we are passionate about supporting the city’s global climate leadership efforts’.

carboNZero is part of Enviro-Mark Solutions independent organisation that offers systems for accurately measuring, managing and minimising environmental impacts. This certification recognises Mercedes me’s active efforts and ongoing commitment to lowering their emissions to achieve carbon neutrality.

Last year, The Design Files held 12 events in the Mercedes me space, including TDF Talks live podcasts with leaders in sustainability Jeremy McLeod, founder of Nightingale Housing, and anti-waste crusader Joost Bakker. Stay tuned for the announcement of our 2019 event program soon!
