ELLISON STUDIOS’ latest launch combines the decadence of the 1980s with the sensuality of the ’70s.
The brand new POET sofa, designed by Night Palm creative director Tiffany Howell for ELLISON STUDIOS, is sculptural and curvy — its undulating shape a reflection of both designer’s signature looks: Tiffany’s vintage style modernised through ELLISON STUDIOS’ coveted lens.
The sofa’s palette harks back to colours found in the US West Coast, available in Malibu Dune (a sandy-toned neutral tufted velvet), Malibu Willow (also a tufted velvet in a botanical tone), and Airlie Camel (a soft boucle weave).
For Tiffany, POET holds romantic significance in personal storytelling — it’s the place to watch old movies with family, enjoy a coffee with friends, daydream, and maybe even share a first kiss. ‘Every imprint left on the fabric is a poem,’ she says.
Of course, for both brands, the sofa needed to be as comfortable as it is desirable.
