The Big Design Trade brings together a selection of 200 Australian and international brands in August, offering a curated experience of independent design products unfolding in the comfort of an exclusive, industry-only setting.

Exhibitors have been carefully selected for their commitment to high-quality, ethical manufacturing and originality, making this *the* place for discerning buyers to make long-lasting relationships with designers, as well as sourcing exceptional products across fashion, jewellery, ceramics, stationery, homewares, kids products, and more.

A host of bright newcomers from Australia and around the world have been welcomed into the fold this year, including Haus of Dizzy’s fabulous bling celebrating indigenous pride (worn by the likes of Lauryn Hill and Drew Barrymore), Melbourne design legends Third Drawer Down, as well as children’s wear from Young Soles London, Plae and Salt Water Sandals (for kids and grown-ups!) .

Local labels like Capra Designs, Sands Made, Erin Lightfoot and Lumiere Art & Co are all part of the lineup for this exclusive event, as well as a range of sustainability innovators including Beetbox reusable glass lunch bowls and Stay Tray coffee carriers. Japanese brands Tutumu unisex socks and knitwear from Nishiguchi Kutsushita are amongst The Big Design Trade’s international contingent.

Every aspect of the event is imbued with the care of people who are truly passionate about good design. Bright floral arrangements in Capra Designs vases will be dotted around the space, and The Big Design Trade staff members will be wearing lush denim and velvet coats from Wolf & Mishka. No detail has been spared!
