If you’re a looking for an excuse to book a holiday, look no further than this immersive design event in Bali.

Taking place from August 14-18, Jia CURATED is a long weekend of craft, design, and culture that has been running since 2022, launched by a Bali-based company celebrating local designers.

But the annual event has only grown bigger (and better) year on year, garnering more than 6000 visitors in 2024.

This year’s edition will bring together more than 70 displays, featuring almost 150 Indonesian and international brands over a much larger exhibition area in Jia CURATED’s home of Bali Festival Park, Sanur.

The program includes a new showcase of architecture models by Indonesia-based practices, curated by the founder of Design Anthology; an art trail of installations; and a series of talks with diverse panellists such as Sabine Marcelis and Fernando LaPosse.

With the lush, 10,000-square-metre abandoned theme park as the event’s backdrop, Jia CURATED offers a unique opportunity for collaboration or to find fresh inspiration, and exchange ideas with designers, makers, artists and thought-leaders from around the world.

Like any good event, there’ll also be music, cultural performances, and plenty of food and drink. Plus, while you’re there, why not make it a proper getaway and go explore all that Bali has to offer?

Early bird tickets are now available, so don’t miss out.
