Eva has teamed up with Melbourne illustrator and stylist Kelly Thompson for a limited-edition take on their award-winning Slideaway Sofa Bed.

In its first-ever artist collaboration, the local furniture brand tapped Kelly to design a custom sofa cover featuring the delicate and detailed botanical illustrations she’s best known for.

The concept is inspired by the campaign tagline ‘Home as Garden’: the idea that your home should be something you cultivate, care for, and that grows with you.

And just as a landscape changes with the seasons, Eva’s furniture is intentionally modular and adaptable to meet your changing needs — an ethos encompassed by the versatility of the Slideaway Sofa Bed, which transforms from a couch into a daybed or double bed.

Kelly says this idea was particularly personal to her as a creative, and a person who often spends time out in nature, whether that’s on her daily walks or working in her own beautiful garden.

‘Living in a space where I can express myself gains more importance every year, it’s similar to choosing an outfit, I want to live in surroundings that are an extension of me and my personality,’ she adds.

Designed and made here in Melbourne, the special print is available to purchase both as stand-alone covers and as a complete package with the Slideaway Sofa Bed.

But it’s only available for a limited time, and won’t be repeated, turning Eva’s functional furniture into a collectable piece.

Find the collaboration on show at Eva’s Melbourne & Sydney showrooms until the 16th of March.
