Since launching its green concept store four years ago as one of the first of its kind in Byron, Nikau has established itself as a major hub for all things botanical and ceramic. Tonight Nikau will launch Symbology, a group ceramic show held at their studio in the Byron Arts and Industrial Estate.

Featuring the works of ceramicists Emma Gale, Grace Brown (Oh Hey Grace), Peta Armstrong, Alica Tibbs (Rara Studio), and Mel Lumb, Nikau founders Nikki Ogilvy and Nicole Steele wanted to celebrate this particular group of ceramicists’ unique approach to making and perfect harmony with one another’s styles. ‘Our artists have always been very important to us…they are the reason we do what we do’, Nicole explains. We wanted to support them further with a chance to explore additional concepts and styles outside our normal store setting’.

There will be more than 85 pieces on show (+ available to purchase) at Symbology, with prices ranging between $65 – $550.

The post-show collection will drop online at 8pm for those who aren’t local!
