In case you missed it, we at The Design Files have launched a biannual print magazine!

After 16 years as a digital publication and platform, our very first issue is about to hit shelves and to celebrate, we’re holding a pop-up shop in Melbourne this Saturday October 12.

For one day only, come visit us at 8 Otter Street Collingwood to be among the first to see and buy a magazine in person from our vintage-inspired magazine kiosk!

We’re also selling limited-edition The Design Files tote bags, designed to match our Issue 01 colours – brown and butter yellow. It’s oversized and hides a handy pocket inside, making it the perfect bag for the beach and any travels this summer.

You’ll be able to get a behind-the-scenes look at how the magazine came together, with a photo exhibition revealing larger-than-life prints of our favourite images from the mag, and a peek at the alternate covers we considered for our first issue!

It all kicks off from 10am, but our friends from Pidapipó will be there from 2pm serving up free gelato!

Plus, five lucky visitors throughout the day will be randomly selected to win a 12-month subscription, including the next two issues of the magazine + tote bag.
