In exciting news for art and furniture lovers alike, Melbourne businesses Sunday Salon and Coco Flip have come together in a new Northcote showroom.
Until now Sunday Salon – an affordable art platform featuring local talent – has been strictly online, but this new showroom space allows fans and potential buyers to see the beautiful work of emerging Australian artists in person.
‘While Sunday Salon is a digital-first platform, I have always wanted to open a physical space alongside this,’ says founder Lily Mora. ‘I am delighted that we are finally able to welcome people to come and see the artworks in person and have a chat.’
Sunday Salon joins much-loved brand Coco Flip, who have been in the Northcote space since last year.
‘With the large gallery walls empty, Kate [founder of Coco Flip] thought of Sunday Salon, and so a collaboration was born,’ explains Lily. ‘I’ve always been interested in the intersection between art and design, so I’m thrilled to be showing artwork alongside Coco Flip’s beautiful furniture’.
