You can’t choose your family, and you especially can’t choose the person your sibling decides to get married to. It’s a a bonus when you actually get along with you family-in-laws, and practically unheard of to go into business with them!

Over regular Friday nights, sisters-in-law Dana D. Dub and Judith Weizman shared an interest in sustainable gift ideas in the lead up to Christmas, which is where the idea for a pop-up store was first hatched. That was only a few months ago, and the duo’s dream store Nice Times is now open for business!

The sweet little store on Malvern Road in Prahran fitted out by West Wood furniture stocks a curated selection of Dana and Judith’s favourite local artists and makers alongside a range of happy, healthy indoor plants. The cosy collection of includes rainbow wall hangings by Middle Aisle, pared-back ceramics from Jade Thorsen, vegan-leather bags by Kapara, soy candles handmade in Melbourne by Saide, colourful prints from D’Banana (aka Nice Times co-founder Dana!) and heaps more gift-worthy bibs and bobs!

Pop in soon for a little holiday shopping – Nice Times will only be open until December 27th! Keep your eyes peeled for their next space in 2019.
