If there was one thing that blew EVERYONE’s minds at TDF’s Open House in November last year, it was Ross Gardam’s collection of lighting. The cutting-edge furniture and lighting designer has become a favourite amongst those in-the-know over the last decade. Fresh off the back of showcasing at Milan Design Week, Ross Gardam will be taking on the Big Apple for the first time with his latest collection of artful lighting, Nebulae, at the prestigious ICFF high-end luxury furniture fair.

Nebulae takes its name from the natural phenomena of interstellar clouds and their dynamically layered lighting effects. A natural evolution from his experimentations with light reflection and shade in recent collections Polar and Ora, his latest range sees a masterful and contemporary exploration of diffusion. Come on – THAT iridescent pink!

‘The fluted glass of Nebulae, even when turned off, has a beautiful motion to the glass elements as they diffuse each other and the environment around them,’ Ross explains.

In addition to this mesmerising new collection, Ross will also be debuting a key selection of his lighting range to the U.S. market at this New York debut. First establishing his studio in 2007, all Ross Gardam pieces are handcrafted locally in Australia.
