Obus x Crumpler Have Made The PERFECT Travel Bags

Two of our favourite local labels collaborate to produce a travel-inspired collection that combines utility with luxury.

We LOVE a good collaboration around here, and this latest offering from two of our closest neighbours has us headed straight for the online checkout!

Much-loved local labels Crumpler and Obus have joined forces to bring us a limited-edition collection comprising eight styles: backpacks, carry-alls, and accessory pouches that can double as laptop cases, all in premium neoprene and mesh.

‘Crumpler and Obus have long been neighbours across Gertrude Street in Fitzroy… it felt like a natural fit to collaborate at this time,’ explains Obus founder and creative director Kylie Zerbst, ‘coming up to our 20th year, we took stock of who else has made the journey alongside us.’

Drawing inspiration from the process of traveling as well as the aesthetics of ikebana (Japanese floral art), the combination of Crumpler’s utilitarian approach with Obus’ understanding of colour makes for a range that heroes both fashion and function.

The Crumpler x Obus collection is now available to purchase from selected Crumpler outlets nationally, and at all Obus stores in Melbourne as well as online at obus.com.au
