Love collecting handmade pieces and supporting local makers?

Melbourne Ceramic Fair is an annual celebration of all things ceramics, and it’s back at the grand Northcote Town Hall Arts Centre this weekend!

Now in its third year, the free event will bring together 58 Victorian-based ceramic artists and independent makers under one roof for two days only.

Visitors will be able to browse thousands of one-of-a-kind objects, including functional tableware, hand-painted mugs, statement vessels, lighting pieces, experimental sculptures and trinkets galore.

This year’s lineup features so many talented artists like Sophie Moran, Oh Hey Grace, Danny Cox, Togetherness Design, Benna co, Peta Armstrong, and Eun Ceramics — just to name a few.

‘In a world drowning in mass-produced throwaway objects, the well-crafted, handmade object becomes a treasured piece. Valued for its soul, and the hard work and dedication of its maker,’ says Benna co founder Kelly Murphy.

With so many wishlist-worthy objects on show, it’s a good chance to get an early start on your Christmas gifting too!

The Melbourne Ceramic Fair is on from October 25 – 26.
