Manly’s latest addition to the retail scene is Mr and Mrs White, a husband-and-wife-owned furniture and homewares store that opened in Sydney earlier this month. Coming from backgrounds in boat building (YES, boats!) and textiles respectively, Nathan and Sasha White have been creating custom furniture and shop-fits together since 2011. It seems only fair they’ve been able to turn their skills to their own space!

Fresh white walls and floorboards, high ceilings and elegant arched entryways create the perfect backdrop for this collection of simple homewares, designed to do for homes what the perfect white shirt does for a wardrobe – it’s all about great basics!

‘We make products that come from our desire to live life simply and to live it well’, explains Sasha, ‘just like a good wardrobe always has the basics, so should the space you live and work in.’

In addition to their own range of thoughtful furniture, Mr and Mrs White also stocks a curated selection of wares from both local and international brands, including prints from New York-based photographer Glen Allsop and handmade ceramics from Sydney’s Made By Mennt.
