For the last five years our Gardens columnist Georgina Reid has sought out green spaces across the globe, documenting them in meticulous detail on her blog, The Planthunter (and on the pages of TDF!). Always approaching her subjects with curiosity and kindness, Georgina crafts fascinating profiles about plants, people and the stories behind them. Having amassed a large and loyal following since the inception of The Planthunter, Georgina and photographer Daniel Shipp, a longtime collaborator, have released a beautiful new book, Truth, Beauty, Chaos and Plants. And next week, they’re celebrating!
Join Georgina and TDF’s founder Lucy Feagins at Phillip Withers’ new green event space Shrub Hub, as they discuss the making of the book and the stories within it over wine and cheese. Truth, Beauty, Chaos and Plants profiles 24 interesting and passionate people living and working with plants in Australia, New Zealand and America.
