You might not recognise the names Ivana Taylor, Jordan Leeflang and Calum Hurley now, but you’ll definitely see them again.

The trio of makers are the outgoing furniture associates at the JamFactory, South Australia’s renowned not-for-profit creative studio nurturing emerging designers and craft practitioners. A new exhibition, titled Generate, will showcase the work they have produced throughout this year in which they have participated in the organisation’s associate program.

Between Jordan’s architecture-inspired timber benches, Calum’s jesmonite dining chairs and Ivana’s textile-wrapped pieces – the exhibition represents the depth and material variety of the three independent practices.

JamFactory are renowned for producing some seriously talented makers from their programs, with alumni including Amanda Dziedzic and James Howe  – so watch this space!
