Brighten up these cold, grey days with a burst of blossoms at an intensive flower workshop with legendary florist Katie Marx later this month.

Held in the truly tranquil surrounds of the Butterland event space in Newstead, this one-day workshop, brimming with goodies, will be just the thing to help shake off those winter blues. Participants will have a hands-on experience making Katie’s signature-style vase arrangements to start off the day, as well as begin to put together pieces for a special project to be created in the afternoon.

A homestyle sit-down lunch and dessert made with local produce served in the space will break up the day, followed by Katie sharing her techniques for bringing together her incredible large installation pieces. Using big branches and bundles of flowers, participants will then create a large-scale installation of their own.

In addition to the practical components of the workshop, tickets include a custom Bridget Bodenham ceramic vase, a quality pair of secateurs in a Katie Marx & Wootten-designed leather pouch, armfuls of flowers (of course), and more!
