1st August, 2019

Local artists will be selling their unique pieces over two August weekends at Fitzroy’s Outré Gallery.

Clear your Sunday calendar for a visit to the Fitzroy Mini Market featuring some of Melbourne’s favourite markers!

Hosted over two weekends at Outré Gallery, vendors at this market (many of who will be familiar faces to TDF readers!) will be selling their unique, homemade wares. Complimentary baked goods and nibbles will also be available!

Appearing at this Sunday’s market will be Ashlea Bechaz, Cat Rabbit, Esther Sandler (Togetherness Design), Hanna Mancini (Hannakin), Jess McCaughey, Penny Ferguson (Min Pin), Pey Chi, Sasha Heath (Hello Tomato), Sophie McPike and Victoria Mason.

In two weeks time on August 18th you’ll find Cat Rabbit, Jamie Mumford, Ashlea Bechaz, Hanna Mancini (Hannakin), Jess McCaughey, Shuh Lee, Flock Curiosity Assembly, Sophie McPike, Gemma Jones and Tegan Iversen.

‘All of the makers featured in this event are artists we’ve admired for a long time, some of whom have been proudly represented in our gallery for many years like Cat Rabbit,’ says Jessica Steger, Outré Gallery’s Fitzroy manager. ‘The team at Outré are always finding ways to support the local art scene and invite the public to appreciate the love and effort that goes into handmade, original art.’

Keep an eye on Outré Gallery’s website for more future events planned for the gallery’s recently opened Fitzroy outpost.

Mini Market Fitzroy is part of the Craft Victoria’s 2019 Craft Cubed Festival. See here to view the entirety of the jam-packed festival calendar encompassing events across the state!
