With a mantra to live ‘life less ordinary’, Fenton & Fenton is all about inspiring Australians to inject colour, pattern, and fun into their homes.
In past collections, the Melbourne-based homewares brand has drawn inspiration from travel destinations all over the globe; from California’s 1970s cowboy ranches to the summery vibes of Italy’s coastline.
But for its latest release, Fenton & Fenton turned to the vibrant cities of Mexico.
The new Ola Mexicola collection features bold motifs across a playful range of sofas, dining chairs, lighting, rugs, homewares and more.
Think symbols like the sacred heart, florals, and geometric borders paired with eye-catching colours — influenced by little details that often appear in traditional textiles, hand-painted tiles, and the country’s famous architecture.
Some of the standout pieces include the textural Raffy Floor Lamp and the playful striped Chill Chair.
‘Mexico City in particular became a touchpoint because of its dynamic blend of old and new,’ says Fenton & Fenton head of brand, marketing and eCommerce Amber Phillips.
‘It’s a place where colour, craft, and connection collide, and we wanted to bring that spirit into our homes here in Australia.’
Fenton & Fenton also collaborated with 11 artists to create a series of exclusive artworks.
Featuring the likes of Berny Bacic, Adrianne Dimitrakakis, Edwina Etheridge, Piero Clemente Garreffa, Denise Hojdyssek, Liam Murphy, Nicole Nelius, the pieces were all designed to complement the collection.
Meanwhile, Drop II of the range is filled with colourful tableware that’s perfect for the upcoming festive season, and a special limited-edition apparel collaboration with R.Sport!
