With winter fast approaching, now’s the time to turn your focus inwards and consider how you want your home to look for the season ahead.

New Zealand-based brand BAYA believes the spaces we inhabit should support not only how we live, but how we feel — something that’s even more important when the weather turns, encouraging more time indoors.

BAYA’s Winter 2026 collection responds to this shift with a sophisticated range of soft furnishings and homewares designed to make any room feel more like a comforting retreat.

Think grounding colours like toffee, walnut and espresso, alongside textural cushions and throw blankets that add moody richness without overpowering a room.

The collection also introduces four new wool rugs, each one is imagined as a hero piece rather than a finishing touch.

The brand’s plush Norfolk rug returns in olive, now available in a larger size primed for open-plan, fluid living spaces.

The Anni rug arrives in chocolate with an offset linear pattern; the Sandringham rug in oxblood features a bold, earthy red hue.

Meanwhile, the Hugo rug’s hand-carved checkerboard composition offers a more graphic centrepiece, which also feels luxuriously soft underfoot.

By balancing thoughtful craftsmanship with functionality, BAYA’s investment pieces are perfect not only for this winter but for many years to come.

Shop BAYA’s Winter 2026 collection online and at select retailers across New Zealand and Australia from April 19.
