Melbourne-based entrepreneur Benjamin Young founded Frank Green back in 2014, with hopes of creating an alternative to single-use water bottles and plastic cups that would be both stylish and sustainable. Since then, this simple ethos and subsequent product has elevated the brand to a cult-status nationwide.

It seems everyone from school kids to working women has developed an affinity for the local brand’s sleek water bottles, all in the name of stopping single-use waste.

It’s hard to say exactly what lies behind Frank Green’s overwhelming popularity. But we’d hazard a guess it’s a perfect storm of an increase in sustainably minded shopping habits, and the power of TikTok. There’s more than 75 million views under the hashtag #frankgreen on the social media app – which has spawned thousands of videos with users sharing unboxings, wish lists and jokes about their ‘emotional support water bottle’ (no really!) to explain why they feel the need to take their trending, 1L bottle everywhere they go.

But one thing’s for sure — for a practical product to be so popular and beloved by its customer base that it garners its own genre of inside jokes and viral fame, it’s got to be good!

While fun, neon colours helped catapult the Ceramic Reusable Bottle and Reusable Cups to social media fame, now it’s chrome’s time to shine. Frank Green’s new Chrome Collection features a hand polished, stainless-steel finish in four fashionable, reflective colours: Chrome Rainbow, Chrome Gold, Chrome Blue, Chrome Silver.

The range also features Frank Green’s award-winning product design – featuring an unbreakable base due to its premium grade stainless steel outer layer, that are also triple-walled and vacuum-insulated for temperature control – that helped make the brand a household name.

They’re also splash and spill resistant, BPA free and come in two lid types; either a push-button lid or their signature straw lid. The best part is, after using your Frank Green bottle for just over two weeks, and you’ll have already offset the environmental impact of making it.

And now’s your chance to score one of five epic prize packs for you and a friend from the anticipated Chrome Collection!

To go in the running to win Frank Green’s Ceramic Reusable Bottle and Ceramic Reusable Cup in a colourway of your choice for you and a friend, all you have to do is tag a friend in the Instagram post, and sign up to the TDF newsletter in the form below to enter. Good luck!

Please note this competition is now closed. The winner was drawn and notified on Friday 17th June via email. See here for the T&Cs.
