OH My goodness people, we made it... I am super freaking excited to announce that TDF Open House Sydney is OPEN TODAY! What a completely insane week / month / year... but we got there!
After closing the doors to our Melbourne event just 2 weeks ago, and returning our beautiful Hawthorn location to its rightful owners last Thursday, we literally jumped on a plane got started on our Sydney bump in - that very same day! It's been a super busy week bumping in to our amazing Sydney location, but we are so pumped to open the doors today and finally share this special project with our Sydney readers and supporters! If you’re in Sydney please do pop down and pay us a visit! We're in Surry Hills, and we're open today for four days, 10.00am - 5.00pm everyday until this Sunday Dec 8th.
Andddd... in keeping with our usual tradition, we thought we’d share a little sneak peek of what Sydney Open House has in store, just incase you need any further encouragement to join us this week! The shots of the house were captured this week by Phu Tang, and there are also SO MANY gorgeous social pics from our opening night event last night by Averie Harvey - thankyou both for the super speedy turnaround on these shots! Once again please forgive the lack of captioning on the social shots in the image gallery... so many faces - you know who you are!

ENORMOUS THANKS once again to our Major Event Sponsors without whom we simply wouldn't have been able to bring this crazy roadshow all the way to Sydney – Jardan, Mini, Dulux, Country Road and Petaluma! Also huge thanks to all the amazing artists, designers, local businesses and friends who have participated and supported this venture once again this year. A special shout-out is in order to amazing Mario and Liz at Mario's Kitchen who cooked up a storm for our opening event last night, and Dr Lisa Cooper for our beautiful flowers, and the team at Paramount Coffee Project who will be serving coffee daily during our trading hours, and Jessica Leski for documenting the chaos on film, and Emma Van Haandel, Matt Vines, Oliver Lloyd and the team at EVH PR for their amazing work publicising our Sydney event.
An extra special thanks is in order also to our most excellent team, especially the bump in crew who have worked tirelessly over the last week in Sydney to pull this thing off - Marni Kornhauser, Huw Smith, Sean Dennis, Mel D'Alessandro, Natalie Turnbull, my talented fella Gordon Johnson, my wonderful Mum, and the AMAZING Lisa Marie Corso! Thankyou ALL for the hours you have all put in this week, I don't know how we did it but we got there!
