It's no secret that I'm a die hard Country Road fan. I can't help it - they're just so consistent and affordable! Everytime time I visit a CR store, I find it extremely difficult to resist the urge to buy at least one thing, especially homewares - which somehow always seems far more justifiable than womenswear (hey, it's for my house, not strictly just for me!).
So when these images of Country Road's Winter 2013 homewares range landed in my inbox, with the offer of a sweet giveaway for one lucky TDF reader... I couldn't resist! Just look at that toasty bedlinen, and impeccable home office styling!
You may recall from our interview with Country Road's creative director (now managing director) Sophie Holt, that everything you see on the shop floor at Country Road is designed from scratch right here in Melbourne, out of CR's Richmond headquarters. It's a pretty impressive modus operandi for such a massive retail operation, which is probably why Country Road nails that distinctly relaxed 'Australian' feel, season after season.
The new homewares range (available instore and online as of today) combines blonde timbers, gunmetal and charcoal greys, creamy tones and the odd pop of letterbox red! But the main drawcard I reckon is the textures - lots of toasty wool and tufted, fluffy soft furnishings to keep you cosy this winter. I am also LOVING the Tiva, Dante and Kato timber trays - perfect for either home or office organisation.
To coincide with today's launch of Country Road's Winter 2013 range, they're offering once lucky TDF reader the chance to win a $500.00 voucher! Thankyou team CR!
To be in the running, simply leave a comment on today’s post before 10.00pm Melbourne time by next Thursday (4th April 2013).
