WELL in case you missed it (incredibly unlikely) today I am just writing one last little post to remind you all that The Design Files Open House is officially open today in Windsor, Melbourne. WOOHOO!
After an epic few months preparing, and a particularly busy week bumping in, we are thrilled to finally throw open the doors today and share this mad adventure with you all! If you're in Melbourne please do pop down and pay us a visit!
BUT if you can't make it, or if you need a little further encouragement, we thought we'd share a little sneak peek today! The lovely snaps here have been captured by Brooke Holm earlier this week, and there are also some gorgeous pics from our opening night event last night by the dashing John Deer! (Thankyou to both Brooke and John for the epic turnaround on these shots!)

BIG THANKS once again to our Major Event Sponsors - Jardan, Mini and Marimekko. We are so grateful for their support of this project! Also big high-fives to all the amazing local businesses and friends who have supported this crazy venture - especially Cookes Food who cooked up a storm for our opening event last night (they even made giant pavlovas!). Thanks also of course to all the wonderful brands, designers and artists who have filled this home with their beautiful wares and made it such a colourful and inviting space.
A special thanks is in order also to our most excellent team of staff, especially the bump in crew who have worked tirelessly over the last few weeks to pull this thing off! THANKYOU Lisa Marie Corso, Nat Turnbull, Marni Kornhauser, Melissa D'Alessandro, my amazingly talented fella Gordon Johnson, and my wonderful Mum for the epic hours you have all put in this week - GO TEAM!
