Like most large-scale events and public art institutions, Melbourne Art Fair has taken the challenges of our current moment as an opportunity to innovate its own traditions. The biennial event has been postponed until February 2021, but has launched a digital program of free events and exhibitions in its place for 2020.

Titled Viewing Rooms, the virtual event will showcase a program of new and curated works that were intended to run during this year’s fair. The digital platform will offer virtual access to local galleries, artist studio tours, collector interviews and exhibition viewings from June 1-7.

Also among its range of digital experiences, TDF’s own Lucy Feagins will feature in a panel discussion on art and design, alongside artist Sally Ross, Architect Roger Nelson and interior designer Pascale Gomes-McNabb.
