In a first-ever collaboration, Country Road and Robert Gordon have launched a collection of ceramics, designed, sourced and made in Victoria using reclaimed glaze.

‘It’s been a dream of ours to one day work with Country Road and we feel immense honour and privilege to be able to collaborate on a collection that is so unique, celebrating our shared passion for simplicity and timeless design,’ says Hannah Gordon, director Robert Gordon Australia.

The limited-edition Victoria range is a mark of considered and local design with each of the six pieces passing through the hands of 12 skilled artisans at Robert Gordon’s production studio in Pakenham.

The reclaimed glaze itself took Robert Gordon’s ceramic engineer Melissa Farell three months to perfect — testing and trialing various methods to achieve the ideal shade of green.

‘Each piece feels so comfortable and organic in the hand. It’s the perfect blend of form and function, and we’re so proud it’s made in Australia using reclaimed glaze,’ says Ty Symonds, general manager Country Road Home.

The range consists of a vase, mug, salad bowl, platter, latte cup and dip bowl, each with their own organic shape and soft curves — perfect for summer table settings!
