After 21 years of creating timeless garments, designer Megan Park is releasing her first self published book Megan Park that reflects on two decades of creating elegant, timeless and ethical fashion.

The clothing brand was launched in 1997 and this book reflects on, and catalogues, the evolution of Megan Park through ‘a collection of stories, a celebration of an impressive career and journey, revisiting the places, moments, people and collections that has defined this gentle and ethical, modest Australian fashion brand.’

The publication is beautifully documented by Simone Egger, a journal and long-time friend of Megan. The pair travelled to India together, and visited the brand partners who are responsible for the production side of the operation. Egger captures the people and stories behind the meticulously handcrafted work.

Of the publication, Megan writes ‘revisiting the past 21 years has been an incredibly humbling experience. From a young woman from country Victoria, designing embroideries in Calcutta for Dries van Norten, to convincing the buyer of British luxury department store Harvey Nichols to take a chance on Megan Park. I could not have wished for a more colourful road to today.’
