Sydney-based ceramicist Milly Dent and fashion designer Jillian Boustred have road tripped down south for their first Melbourne event – a Jilly x Milly pop-up store on Gertrude Street in Fitzroy! The two creatives first met in 2017 working in the same collaborative warehouse studio space (a tale as old as time), often swapping ceramics for clothing and vice versa! This Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can shop their distinct wares under the one roof in Melbourne.

Both Milly and Jilly work to produce pieces that are sustainable and timeless. Inspired by the natural environment, Milly reimagines daily routine through uniquely handcrafted, exclusive ceramic goods. Using small-scale production methods along with distinctive marbling and geometric pattern work, the result challenges conventional expectations of tableware.

Jillian has amassed a loyal following since founding her eponymous fashion brand in 2015 that focuses on classic pieces made to last. All of her clothes are made locally with a focus on ethical and sustainable manufacturing.
