Since its founding in 1995, Fink & Co. has produced jewellery, lighting and tableware from the town of Queanbeyan on the border of NSW and ACT. Among its range, the iconic Water Jug has become its signature style, even making an appearance in the Guggenheim Museum’s Bilbao collection and the MoMA restaurant in New York!

Now the heritage brand is putting its classic design to a good cause. Dubbed the ‘Collaborative Jug Project’, Fink has invited 15 local creatives to put their own decorative spin on the traditional silhouette. Hailing from a range of different disciplines, the artists have engraved, vinyl wrapped, sandblasted, hammered, powder coated or hand carved their jugs according to their medium. One is even set with a solid white Queensland opal!

Each bespoke vessel created by the group of sculptors, jewellers, glass artists, graphic designers and metalsmiths will then be auctioned at the end of this week. 10% of profits will be donated to mental health organisation Headspace, with the remainder going to the designers.
