‘Coconuts for You’ Smoothie

OK sweet treats are not ALL about indulgence, people. If you’re keen to kick off the new year with a less decadent menu, look no further than this smoothie from nutritionist and author Lola Berry. Lola proves that a blueberry+coconut packed smoothie can be *almost* as good as ice cream… almost.

Pidapipò’s Popcorn Choc Top

The humble movie choc-top gets a gourmet makeover in the hands of cult gelaterie owner, Lisa Valmorbida of Pidapipó. This recipe uses Lisa’s own popcorn flavour gelato, but you could substitute any ice cream or gelato. Rustle up a batch of these bad boys, and cuddle up for an evening in front of the screen with your fave people.

Choc-nana Pops

Kate Berry, founder of Lunch Lady, shared this inspired kids treat with us a couple of years back – taking the humble banana to new chocolately heights! This ‘recipe’ is both absurdly simple, and delish. Obviously, they’re very kid friendly… but in our experience adults seem pretty keen too!

A TDF Take on Tiramisu

Who doesn’t love a no-cook dessert? These individual Tiramisu servings are ridiculously easy to make, and the winning combo of coffee and liqueur makes them the perfect, grown-up ‘not-too-sweet’ treat.

This no-fuss recipe omits eggs, for a simplified and slightly lighter take on the traditional Italian dish.

‘Rosy Posy’ Smoothie

Lola Berry‘s ‘Rosy Posy’ smoothie combines strawberries with rosewater and fresh vanilla for a supremely sweet and deliciously perfumed treat! It’s her take on the typical strawberry breakfast smoothie, but a slightly fancier version, with the addition of rosewater and rose petals.

Pidapipò’s Mint Gelato + Passionfruit Mini Pavlovas

This recipe involves a couple of different elements, but the combination is absolutely worth the washing up! Tuck into a mini pavlova, topped with fresh Pidapipò mint gelato, with tart passionfruit curd and passionfruit jelly cutting through the sweetness.
