Giveaway

This year for our Christmas giveaway, we’re offering our BIGGEST PRIZE EVER!  One special TDF reader (and their lucky friend) will win an incredible trip to New Zealand, to coincide with the 2019 Auckland Art Fair next April WOAH!

All you have to do is fill out our annual TDF Reader’s Survey to go into the draw!

More on THE PRIZE below…

20th December, 2018

‘We look to the bush, the ocean, the orchards, the fjords and the plains as tools for exploring national flavours and identity. This is how expressions on the plate are teased out, ones that express the nuances of our Oceania home.’ – Josh Helm and Tom Hishon of Orphans Kitchen.

On Tuesday, April 30th…

fly to Auckland (from your nearest capital city’s airport) and check in for three nights at the five-star Hotel Grand Windsor, with breakfast included. This boutique accommodation is ideally situated near the shopping and café precinct of Britomart. You can also hang out at one of the bars surrounding Viaduct basin, home to the America’s Cup (coming to Auckland in 2021).

Later that evening, heading off to a three-course dinner with a bottle of wine at Orphans Kitchen.

‘For many locals, this charming neighbourhood bistro is their happy place nestled in along Jervois Road, where the food is consistently delightful. What appears to be an unassuming bistro features a food style with its roots in French cuisine, but with cutting edge playful sophistication,’ – Nick Honeyman, Chef/Owner ay Paris Butter, Auckland, and Le Petit Leon, Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère.
