I spent three days earlier this week at the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra, which was a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience! We were there, of course, to capture Cartier, The Exhibition, which officially opens today.

We’re thrilled today to reveal the resulting film – a first look at this historic exhibition of over 300 jewellery pieces, watches, objects and artefacts designed and crafted by the iconic French jewellery house.

It was utterly awe-inspiring standing inside the beautiful NGA building, up close with the largest collection of Cartier jewellery and artefacts to ever be exhibited, as gallery staff completed the finishing touches for this spectacular show.

As The NGA’s Deputy Director, Kirsten Paisley, says, the show includes loans from some of the most glamorous and important collectors and commissioners of Cartier jewellery. Among the treasures on exhibit are priceless pieces loaned from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (!), including *that* tiara worn by the Duchess of Cambridge on her wedding day!

We hope this little film offers a unique insight into the making of this historic exhibition and inspires a short trip to experience the *sparkle* in person!

From Her Majesty The Queen’s personal jewels to Elizabeth Taylor’s ruby necklace, don’t miss this unprecedented collection of jewellery together for the first time, exclusive to the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra.

Cartier: The Exhibition until July 22. Tickets on sale now through Ticketek.

This film has been produced in collaboration with our amazing video partners, SIRAP, with photographs by Caitlin Mills.
