Pretty excited and suitably self-conscious this morning to share a little video by kikki.K, starring, ah, ME!
It’s a little known fact that many moons ago, my first job was in a craft store. I worked there every weekend in my late teens and early twenties, and took great pleasure in the ‘problem solving’ that came with the job! I remember helping frantic parents create a last minute kids costume using only cardboard and a stapler, or whipping up a fascinator on the spot for someone in a cocktail dress, en route to the races!
These days, my creative skills are reserved for the summer holidays, when work slows down, I can reconnect with family, and add a few festive flourishes to make home feel extra special. I love bringing home a real Christmas tree, and decorating with soft white fairy lights, foraged foliage and simple, sparkling decorations.
Watch our Christmas video above, for a little insight into my favourite creative Christmas traditions, and my handmade fresh wreath! There’s also a sweet little interview with me up now on the kikki.K blog.

AND Melbourne folk can join me for a festive wreath-making workshop hosted by kikki.K at Emporium Shopping Centre on December 6th – all info here!
