WARNING!  Image heavy post! Apologies in advance if your page takes a nanosecond longer to load than usual.  It's just that when I'm presented with such a seriously impressive product range in the most fresh and fabulous colour palette (lilac and olive green - who knew?!), accompanied by a collection of the most beautifully styled shots... you know, I do tend to get a bit carried away. I am a massive fan of local accessories label Witu for a number of reasons. First up, as you all know, we do love a twenty-something over-achiever around here - and Natalie Turnbull and Elise Wilken, the sweet and super clever pair behind this local label really are the hardest working kids!  When we first featured Witu last year, you may recall at the time they were just 21 and 23 years old respectively!  Secondly, I must admit I'm a little biased these days, because since first meeting Natalie, we've had the great pleasure of welcoming her into our tiny team at TDF - Nat currently works with us 2 days a week, as our Styling and Studio Assistant. SO, last week we were fortunate to be amongst the first to see these shots from Witu's brand new 'Ozone' range.... and they stopped me in my tracks!  This collection is such a breath of fresh air, I love the unexpected colour palette, the playfulness and 'futuristic' vibes. The 'Ozone' range is inspired by the habitats and creatures of the ocean, from crashing waves to radioactive jellyfish!  Witu's signature neoprene (wetsuit fabric) has been reworked in a new palette of murky underwater olives greens, pretty pastels and a sandy neutral hue. Old favourites including their signature tote and backpack have been reimagined in these fresh new colour ways, whilst new designs including a scalloped edged ‘Wave’ bag, shell-shaped bowler bag, mini duffle bag, wallet and wearable tech accessories, and even neoprene clothing (!!) have been added to the line-up. Witu have also sourced a seriously cool new plush neoprene fabric to add a new texture to the range - we love the black wide brimmed HAT!  (Would it look as fab on me as it does on Witu's amazingly stylish model...?!  Perhaps not.) Up next for Witu is a VERY COOL collaboration with one of their favourite international companies, which they are super excited about!  We'll keep ya posted... Meantime, Melburnians can check out the launch of Ozone this Friday at The Good Copy Shop in Collingwood. 'Ozone' launch event by Witu Hosted by The Good Copy Shop 27-29 Johnston Street Collingwood VIC 3066 This Friday 1st August from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
