We've had such a beautiful week on the Guest Blog this week, a massive THANK YOU to Luci Everett for sharing all these wonderfully good looking things next to each other! But the fun doesn't stop here, Luci has lots more good looking things over on her website and blog too. Thanks again Luci! - Jenny x
At my sharehouse the only toilet is outside which means I really get to see our jungle of a backyard evolve throughout the year. By jungle I'm talking fat palm tree (central feature piece), extensive bamboo forest, wall to wall creepers, unidentifiable night creatures (in the heights of the palm tree), 56 broken chairs, a few months worth of cigarette butts, a street sign from Albury, so forth. It's an oasis really.
I'd like to describe to you the wild origins of this whole collection, but I'll save that for a more appropriate medium to bore people. I will say those deep red leaves on the left caught my eye circa May 2011 when our backyard resident grape vine really put on a show. En masse, with the sunlight streaming in from the east, it was so beautiful that my eyeballs nearly melted into a puddle before I even got to the loo. Oh, nature.
