Kaboodle Kitchen Releases New Colourful, Travel-Inspired Trends Range

We’re big fans of a colourful kitchen. While this room is primarily a practical space, it’s also often the heart of the home, and a prime opportunity to showcase your personality through materials, patterns, and texture.

The newly-released Trends Range by kaboodle kitchen has been designed for this very purpose.

The team at kaboodle kitchen worked with Jono Fleming to bring these colours to life across four themes: indulge, connect, embrace, and celebrate.

The Trends Range features six new door and panels colours: a vibrant green (Edamame), mid-century inspired timber (Walnut), mustard yellow hue (Mostaza), earthy terracotta tone (Tagine), rich burgundy red (Paprika), and a playful soft pink (Candy Floss) — influenced by stories of travel, a renewed sense of adventure, and a yearning for nostalgia.

Take inspiration from Jono’s styling to bring colour and individuality into your home with kaboodle kitchen!

With so many surfaces to play with, the kitchen is one of the easiest and most exciting places to introduce colour into your home.

kaboodle kitchen have made it even simpler with their new Trends Range featuring limited-edition doors and panels in six shades: Edamame, Walnut, Mostaza, Tagine, Paprika, and Candy Floss.

These doors and panels are designed to bring a worldly feel into the home and delight all those who enter.

‘We know our homes have a profound impact on us and can ultimately impact the way we think and feel. That’s why we’re passionate about offering stylish yet affordable joinery solutions for everyone,’ says kaboodle marketing manager John Harrison.

‘Our trends range encourages reflection on the culture and surroundings we embrace, the people we connect with, the moments we celebrate and the indulgences we enjoy along the way.’

With these four ideas in mind, kaboodle kitchen teamed up with interior designer Jono Fleming to bring their Trends Range doors and panels to life across four kitchens.

Take a closer look at the four kitchens below and get inspired for your next kitchen renovation or weekend project!

Celebrate

Trend colour: Mostaza
Material: Premium melamine
Profiles: Modern

Mostaza (a shade of mustard yellow) takes centre stage in Celebrate to evoke a sense of festivity and bring the aromas of travel and new experiences into the home.

‘This shade of mustard yellow will transport you to the culturally rich street markets and festivals of South America where flavours are vibrant and our senses are overloaded,’ says Jono.

Mostaza pairs effortlessly with timber tones, whites, and matte black accents.

Connect

Trend colours: Tagine
Material: Premium melamine
Profiles: Modern

Connect speaks to the desire to create environments that encourage conversation and connection, especially since the pandemic.

The colours of this kitchen reference the visually rich and vibrant streets of Morocco.

Jono says designing with the earthy tones of tagine will foster the memorable and engaging environments that travel brings.

The Embrace kitchen: Lower cabinetry doors and panels in Edamame. Upper cabinetry and kitchen island doors and panels in Walnut. Benchtops in Yamaroo.

Embrace

Trend colours: Edamame and Walnut
Material: Premium melamine
Profiles: Modern

The increased interest in self-care rituals is reflected in the desire for soothing, warm, and supportive home interiors.

‘Inspired by a desire to embrace positivity in all aspects of our lives, we recognise that our surroundings have a profound impact on us,’ explains Jono.

Incorporating the calming tones of edamame and cosy textures of walnut, this palette creates an environment that is both nurturing and inviting.

Indulge

Trend colours: Paprika and Candy Floss
Material: Premium thermoformed
Profiles: Modern, Alpine, Country, and Heritage

The Indulge kitchen is influenced by a sense of nostalgia with Jono exploring ways to go back in time and experience different cultures and lifestyles.

‘We want to create interiors that are distinctive, emulating a sense of opulence and charm,’ he says.

Incorporating the rich hues of paprika and the whimsical tones of candy floss allow us to embrace old school charm and create a visual wonderland
