Alyce Tran’s Perfectly Pastel Paddington Terrace

Entrepreneur Alyce Tran clearly knows how to create stylish homewares and accessories, as the co-founder of lifestyle brand In The Roundhouse, co-founder of The Daily Edited, and strategist to LTK

Just as fashionable is her home — a Paddington terrace filled with pastel pieces and pink accents.

Without so much as a mood board, Alyce styled these interiors herself to form a cohesive home that exudes playfulness and femininity. Filled with statement furniture, colourful accessories, and linen from Sheridan, this is a home that perfectly reflects Alyce’s bold, decisive, yet fun-loving personality.

Alyce Tran, co-founder of lifestyle brand In The Roundhouse and strategist to LTK, was first attracted to this Paddington house for its layout. The self-proclaimed style chameleon loved the home’s generous three-storey floor plan, which offered plenty of space to grow into over time.

It’s been just six months since Alyce moved in, but already she’s created an incredibly personalised space filled with colour, femininity, and light.

‘I am trying to keep it casual and easy but also inspiring,’ she says. ‘It has been so hard with supply shortages [over the pandemic], so I am worried it is all a bit scattered at my place… but I guess it’s a process isn’t it!’

Perhaps the secret to creating such a harmonious space is Alyce’s confidence and understanding of her own personal style. She hasn’t worked with any designers or even created a mood board to decorate this space, she has simply trusted her own instincts.

One common thread that’s emerged in Alyce’s home is the colour pink, as shown across her art and accessories, designer lighting (the Murano glass chandeliers in her living and dining space are among Alyce’s most prized pieces), Cosmic Gradient plates from her own homewares label In The Roundhouse, and Pirrie bedding by Sheridan

‘I look for things that are a bit different to the norm or what I am seeing a lot of, but I can’t help myself with some trends!’ she says. ‘I feel like if you invest in big ticket items that are properly designed it will all come together.’

With only the living room ‘done’ in Alyce’s eyes, there’s plenty more to come in this home. ‘I just have to get way more furniture and objects to fill the space,’ she says. ‘We are nowhere near done here!’
