It may be February, but we’re still clutching onto the tail-end of summer, and this month, we’ll be celebrating the balmy late summer nights with The Perfect Tipple – a new cocktail video series, supported by Dan Murphy’s.
Australian gin is having a moment. There are more independent craft distilleries in Australia now than ever before (the Australian Distillers Association currently has 106 members, and 70 of them make gin!*). This month, we’ll introduce you to four of them, with a series of inspired cocktail recipes, each featuring an excellent Australian craft gin – stocked at Dan Murphy’s, of course.
We’re kicking off today with The Dry Gin Sour, featuring Archie Rose Signature Dry Gin. Based in NSW, The Archie Rose Distilling Co. creates their distinctive handcrafted gin with native botanicals including Lemon Myrtle, Blood Lime, River Mint and Dorrigo Pepperleaf. The perfect herbal base for this classic, citrusy cocktail.
