We're always keen to see what's new from talented Melbourne based design duo Bonnie and Neil, who create an extensive range of vibrant screenprinted soft furnishings and homewares from their busy studio in Brunswick.
Unsurprisingly, it's been another busy year for this prolific pair! Next week their latest cushions will hit Anthropologie stores in the US, as well as in Selfridges in London - MASSIVE! Closer to home, Bonnie and Neil were pretty chuffed recently to be invited to create custom prints for the Australian Open VIP Lounge and Presidents Lounge. And later this week, their latest range, Archipelago, will launch at Life in Style in Sydney.
For Bonnie and Neil, patterns and colours inspired by Pacific Island culture is a consistent source of inspiration, and was front of mind again for the development of this latest collection. 'We stayed with the South Pacific as a source of inspiration, however this latest range also references the age of exploration, undiscovered lands, rain forests and other wildlife' explains Bonnie. In addition to their popular cushion and table linen designs, the new Archipelago range also incorporates printed still life artworks on timber, new plywood tile designs, and finally - bedding!
As the year progresses there's a lot more in store for Bonnie and Neil - a few new collabs, including an exclusive collaboration with Sydney stylist and designer Sibella Court, plus the roll out of their new bedding range in overseas stores, and even an international show! For local devotees, their annual studio sale is also scheduled for the first week of May.
In the meantime... for a closer look at all their latest work, do check out Bonnie and Neil's brand new website, which just launched this week. Do these guys ever slow down!?
