I have been wanting to share these seriously fabulous 'Largeish leather lockets' from Sydney designer Jen Booth since DECEMBER. The reason I have been waiting patiently to do so is because Ms Booth actually decided to spend 2013 in France (as you do) and she was mildly freaked out about the prospect of having a little write up on TDF and no way to fill any resulting orders! But fear not, she's got a system in place now, and some friendly hands on the ground in Sydney assisting her with online orders, so here we are with a sweet post about these fab new designs!
You probably recall Jen Booth's Tiny Mini Leather Lockets which we fell in love with last year. I actually loved them so much I snapped up 3 in different colours, and forced all our wonderful staff at TDF Open House last year to wear them :)
SO you can imagine my excitement when Jen released these new Leather Locket Bags - ie 'Largeish leather lockets'! They're so seriously cute, and come in the best range of colours and textures, from patent leather, to metallic gold and of course, my fave - faux 'Cheetah'! But what makes these especially ace, is the custom designed keyring that hangs from each bag, with cute cut-out font designed by Sydney illustrator / graphic designer Georgia Perry. Each bag comes with a different colour/phrase keyring - no you can't choose which comes with which bag, but Jen says 'we promise it will be outstanding!'
Jen Booth's Largeish Leather Lockets are handmade in Sydney from leather or cow hide, with lobster clasps and a removable leather strap. They measure around 17cm across, and they're priced at $120 each.
