Oh my goodness! I blinked and now the end of the year is very nearly upon us! Wowsers time sure does fly when you host a ridiculously ambitious pop-up event in early December :)
This week, sadly, marks the last Guest Blog for 2011. Jenny and I wracked our brains to come up with the perfect candidate to close a year of inspired Guest Blog content, and Melbourne photographer / graphic designer / blogger MISHY LANE popped up in our brains almost simultaneously like some kind of miraculous example of collective consciousness. No I lie it was totally Jenny's idea. Love your work Jenny!
Mishy Lane is multitasking local creative, and a regular contributor to Curvy Mag (online), Finders Keepers Creative Spaces and Concrete Playground. When Mishy is not exercising her photographic genius, she can be found working at Lamington Drive's new pop-up space 'The Gallery' at Chadstone Shopping Centre!
Mainly, we love Mishy's gorgeous summery photos. She is star at capturing that unique Australian summertime hazy wonderfulness. You know, the last-minute beach getaways, lazy picnics with friends dozing in a city park or nature strip, messy but unforgettable times spent at summer festivals and gigs.... singlets, sunburn, food, fun and general carefree summertime sillyness.
We thought there was no better way to celebrate the impending holidays than by sharing a week of Mishy Lane's fabulous summer photos on the Guest Blog!
You can check out Mishy's photo and design portfolio here, and you can BUY some of her beautiful photographic prints here, and you can read her blog here, and you should totes follow her on Twitter too!
As mentioned, this week marks our FINAL Guest Blog for 2011 - but don't fret, after a short hiatus the Guest Blog will be back in 2012 with a stellar line-up that may or may not include BECI ORPIN. Ok, so, it will definitely include Beci Oprin. Promise. :)
