OH. MY. GOD.
Guys you have NO IDEA how many late nights and spreadsheet induced madness has gone into this... but TODAY we are super excited to announce all the wonderful stockists whose beautiful wares will be in The Design Files Open House! Yeeha!
It's been such a tough gig whittling this list down, because we have SO many favourites, and only one house to fill with stuff! But in the end it came down to a final edit of 71 talented local designers, makers, retailers, wholesalers and artists!
The exhaustive list of all those involved has gone live this morning on The Design Files Open House website - please pop over and take a look around! It's the best of the best, people! You can see all the brands involved, and a lot of the product too.... although there is much, much more product to come in the next week or so, so do pop back in the coming days! And don't forget you will be able to shop online for a limited 2 week window directly after the pop-up event. (Online trading commences Dec 5th and runs until Dec 18th.)
And now for a massive and well-deserved plug for the most spectacularly talented and hardworking web team in Melbourne - Lettuce Systems! Thankyou Lettuce Systems for building the amazing TDF Open House website! I cannot begin to describe my immense gratitude to Angus and his clever team. No challenge is ever too great for these guys. They answer all my annoying questions very patiently - and when my website has a meltdown at 11.00pm on a weeknight, they answer the phone. I heart Lettuce. TDF would be very shabby without them!
And whilst I'm at it, another shout out is also in order for the spunky girls at Ortolan design studio, who are responsible for all the graphic beautifulness of The Design Files Open House - most especially our fancy-pants Store Directory, which you can download here! We're also printing a bazillion copies of this beautiful little publication to be distributed on site at The Design Files Open House.
And there you have it. Please go forth and tweet, facebook, email everyone you know... :) Because if no one comes to The Design Files Open House we'll be awfully lonely. Although we'll be surrounded by some pretty awesome furniture.
