It appears Mr Jason Grant has been rather busy since leaving his post as Style Director for Real Living magazine.  As a busy freelancer he's been bouncing back and forth from Melbourne to Sydney for a huge variety of projects - styling ad campaigns for some big local brands (watch out for Officeworks' next catalogue!), and contributing to a variety of mags including Inside Out, House & Garden and Gourmet Traveller.  BUT I have to say, judging by the emails, txts and phonecalls(!) I have received from Jason these past few weeks, he seems MOST excited about this latest collaboration - a limited edition range of paints with Murobond!  "Working with Murobond is a dream come true" says Jason - "For a stylist to have their VERY own paint colours/collection is very exciting!"

Jason's first paint collection is entitled Welcome to my Wonderland - "No, not Alice in Wonderland, although I do love that story" he says.  Instead, this playful title refers to Sydney's Tamarama, where he explains there once was an amusement park called Wonderland, including a roller coaster and apparently an elephant!  The range is full of gorgeously muddy hues, inspired by Jason's love of faded, washed out colours.  "I love vintage, so anything rusty or weathered I cant resist" says Jason.  "There had to be cool greys, military green and soft blues, with some warm friendly neutrals and a couple of toned down splashes of colour".

With names like 'Masking tape', 'Flower pot', 'Caravan' and 'Elephant's ear' (!!) I've no doubt they'll capture the imagination of many budding DIY-ers!

MrJasonGrant limited edition paints for Murobond officially launch next month, and are priced at $39.00 a litre.

*psst Jason's website and blog have also had a bit of a facelift in recent months.. do pop over and have a look!

Loving that blue!  And awww check out Jason with Murobond tattoo!  Ha!
